About us
At GÖTTFERT, we have been manufacturing high-quality testing instruments for plastics and rubber since 1962. Under the leadership of our founder Prof. Dr. Otto Göttfert, the journey began in an old chain mill in Mühltal in Buchen. With the construction of our current location in the industrial park, we laid the foundation for our development into the global market leader in rheology.
Under the leadership of Dr. Axel Göttfert, we have continued to develop continuously. In order to be closer to our customers worldwide, we founded a subsidiary in Rock Hill, South Carolina, USA in 1989 and GOETTFERT (China) Limited in Beijing in 2011.
We expanded our headquarters in Buchen by 1300 m² in 2016 and 2017. The new headquarters building with a modern laboratory and training rooms as well as the enlarged production facility enable us to respond even better to the requirements of the market.
We are particularly grateful to our employees, who are committed to GÖTTFERT every day.
