It is well known that the elongational flow behavior, which dominates many processing techniques, can not be determined from shear experiments. The patented Rheotens melt tensile testing technique has proven to be highly reproductable and sensitive and will differentiate even polymer melts showing differences in molecular structure, which cannot be detected with other analytical methods.

At-Line Rheometer-M RHEOTENS-Online  


The RHEOTENS ONLINE is a fully automatic and continuously operating on-line tensile tester developed on the basis of the lab system RHEOTENS 71.97. RHEOTENS on-line, in conjunction with the on-line capillary rheometer MBR, is the first on-line testing system providing both shear and elongational information.

Extensional Tester Haul Off  


The Haul-Off system measures the extensional properties of polymer melts by drawing a vertical melt strand at a constant pull-off speed or with a linear or exponentially accelerating velocity.·
